A little bit about me

Hi! Richard Li here.

My interests

There’s really only one thing that interests me technically: machine learning architecture, and improving automated thinking processes. Specifically, these factors of ML:

  • Applied psychology: proving how we think mathematically, instead of just emperical observation. What is intelligence?
  • Efficiency: improving how we reason and learn by knowing exactly what we are working with. How can we grow?
  • Potential: intelligence is arguably the most important quality we have. What insights can we do with more?

To this end, I am interested in the following implementations:

  • Computer Science: Developing algorithms to encapture and prove the methods of reasoning and deduction.
  • Statistics: Using mathematics as a basis for philosophical proofs on human behavior, on bot the micro (individual) and macro (society) levels.
  • Finances: it seems like this is the highest ROI for computation?

Some other adjacent fields that provoke my interest:

  • Applets: end-to-end pipelines for user experience; workflow optimizations
  • Computur Engineering: designing the compute that makes training and inference possible

If you share these interests, feel free to send me an email!
